Mesa, Arizona

The crowd files in as we see Vesuvius already making his way to the ring. He steps over the top rope and looks around at the crowd, most of whom are shocked to see him out here before the show is supposed to start. He has a microphone in his hand.

Vesuvius - Oh look at the people filing in and expecting to see the big matches transpire here, the last event before the beginning of the end for some of the roster in the back, the event known as Battle of the Warriors. Tonight Davlin McCaine was scheduled to fight Scavenger. I have decided not to allow Davlin to enter the building. You see, I run the show and that means that I decide who stays and goes.

The crowd cheers as "Don't You Know Who I am?" by Happyland plays and Q makes his way down towards the ring. He is shaking his head as he steps onto the apron and then enters the ring, pulling the microphone away from Vesuvius.

Q - Are you aware no one gives a damn what you think? See, I am here because you saw fit to rid this company of a man who did nothing to harm you. Your paranoia is apparent and, if I might say so, you should take a vacation and let that puppet Knight run things for you. Maybe you could train a monkey to run things.

Vesuvius - You think you're pretty smart don't you?

Q - I actually am quite aware of how smart I am and I hate rhetorical questions.

Vesuvius - Fine, I'll tell you what. If you beat Salty Tom tonight, you get to name the commissioner for all of January.

Q - You're on. I'm sure there's a zoo somewhere around here.

Vesuvius - Enjoy the beating, Q. I had better get ready to referee that match.

Vesuvius then exits the ring as "Dalai Lama" by Rammstein starts to play and he starts to head for the back. Q just stands inside the ring with a smirk on his face.

Henry Lesher - Who's playing who here?

We then fade to black for a moment before we hear the opening of "Animal" by Mudmen and we see images of Nameless, Gerard Angelo, Max Cameron, Q, Salty Tom, Daniel McCoy, Vesuvius and Myst with Rated R before we head to ringside where Henry Lesher and Ricky Simms are all set to call the action.

Artifice vs Alexandrea DuChance

The crowd is somewhat loud as smoke starts to fill the ring and the aisle leading to it. The smoke is thick for a few moments before it starts to clear and we see Artifice standing there in the center of it. He looks around at the crowd, as if no more certain what to make of them than they are of what to make of him. He then starts pacing inside the ring as the smoke continues to clear. We then see Alexandrea DuChance making her way out, also without the standard loud musical introduction. Kelly Buchanan announces her entrance and the crowd seems to be into her, though that may have more to do with her looks than anything else with this being a debut match and all.

Ricky Simms - AW is continuing to attract a strong roster here as new wrestlers are signing up every week.

Henry Lesher - Yes, but they might be hobos fighting for a sandwich. I think that might be a little high for the current budget, but you never know.

DuChance stands at ringside as her brother Corwin takes his place at ringside. They have a few words and then she rolls herself into the ring. She gets to her feet as referee Mark Davis calls for the bell. Artifice and Alexandrea lock up in the middle of the ring. Artifice then shoves her into the corner buckle, knees her in the gut as she comes back out of it and then gives her a gut wrench suplex to the mat before going for the quick pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Alexandrea.

Ricky Simms - Fast start for Artifice.

Henry Lesher - Tremendously fast apathy on my behalf.

Artifice stands Alexandrea up, whips her off the ropes and clotheslines her down to the mat as Corwin is seen shaking his head at ringside. Artifice stands Alexandrea up, whips her off the ropes and she manages to duck a clothesline and then she knees Artifice in the ribs, headlocks him and executes a springboard bulldog on Artifice before she takes a shot at getting the pin fall. 1...2... kick out by Artifice. Alexandrea then quickly gets to her feet, leg drops Artifice across the throat and again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Artifice. Alexandrea then goes to the ropes as Corwin appears to be holding his breath for her at ringside. Alexandrea lets it fly off the top and misses with a flying splash off the top when Artifice rolls out of the way.

Ricky Simms - She telegraphed that one.

Henry Lesher - Apathy is winning this one for me.

Artifice adjusts his mask as he gets to his feet. Alexandrea appears to have winded herself as Artifice stands over her. He grabs her by the hair, stands her up and headbutts her back down to the mat. Artifice then heads to the ropes and makes his way to the second rope before landing a double axe handle smash across her back. He then picks her up and lands a fall away slam and goes for the pin. 1...2... Alexandrea kicks out, providing a lot of fight this week against Artifice.

Ricky Simms - Very strong match here between these two.

Henry Lesher - You really need to get some taste.

Artifice stands Alexandrea up, whips her off the ropes and lands a dropkick that sends her to the mat. She then rolls herself out of the ring to regroup. Corwin goes to her side as Artifice rolls himself out of the ring. Corwin heads Artifice off and they start to have words as Alexandrea gets to her feet.

Ricky Simms - Corwin is standing up for his sister here.

Henry Lesher - God knows she can't stand up for herself.

Alexandrea steps past her brother and starts exchanging rights and lefts with Artifice. He spins her around, shoves her into her brother and then gives her a German suplex on the floor. Referee Mark Davis then calls for the bell, having counted them both out.

Ricky Simms - Double count out here. These two may not have seen the last of each other.

Artifice gets to his feet, hears the decision and then puts the boots to the fallen Alexandrea. Corwin picks up a chair and charges at Artifice, but he side steps it and the chair bounces off of the ring steps as Artifice starts heading for the back. Corwin checks on his sister as we check things out backstage. We see Max Cameron putting his boots on and getting set for action tonight. Ray Dees enters the picture.

Ray Dees - Max, a minute?

Max Cameron - Sixty seconds, that's a minute. Glad I could be of help.

Ray Dees - You have stated that you made Rated R and you're carrying a large chip on your shoulder about respect.

Max Cameron - You know why, Raymond? There is a simple reason for that, you know. I was a world champion of both the CWA and the GWO. I started YA. I am the man everyone came to and then abandoned. I am the ECW in the form of a man. Tonight, I teach Rated R to show me respect.

Ray Dees - You are comparing yourself to a defunct company?

Max Cameron - I am far more impressive than ECW. I have real talent. I am the real hero, the real hardcore wrestler in AW. I'll show them all. I'll even show you.

Max then leaves the locker room and Ray shrugs at the camera.

Myst vs Dustin Walters

"Load Me Up" by Matthew Good Band plays as Dustin Walters makes his way towards the ring. He gets a mixed reaction from the crowd as he makes his way around the ring. He stops at the announce table and gives Henry Lesher a dirty look before pulling himself onto the apron and then stepping into the ring. His music then fades and we hear "A Place For My Head" by Linkin Park and Myst starts making her way towards the ring. Before she even reaches ringside, Shannon Skanes slips into the ring wearing plain clothes and attacks Dustin Walters from behind, clotheslining him to the mat. The crowd cheers wildly as he puts the boots to Dustin and rolls him out of the ring. Myst stands in shock in the aisle as Dustin and Shannon start trading punches on the floor.

Ricky Simms - No one knew Shannon was here! He isn't even a member of AW!

Henry Lesher - There's been a lot of that going around lately.

Shannon drills Dustin with a right hook and Dustin answers with a right hook of his own. No one sees Davlin McCaine coming until he dives over the guard railing and clotheslines both men to the floor. Security rushes out to try and get things under control here. Shannon and Davlin start taking shots at security, sensing that they are both going to get taken out of here.

Ricky Simms - This is a huge battle about rights to be here. Davlin claims his right to be here as does Shannon apparently.

Henry Lesher - I think Shannon was concerned about his wife dropping a match to Dustin and attacked him before that could happen.

Ricky Simms - The Myst factor could have a lot to do with this, for sure.

Dustin Walters manages to get free of security and charges at Myst. Myst and Dustin start trading punches and Myst low blows him, then slams his head into the guard railing. Shannon Skanes then wrestles free of the security and clotheslines Dustin to the floor, then locks eyes with Myst as the crowd cheers. Before anything can be said, Davlin gets free and spears Shannon into the guard railing. He then has a few words for Myst as she backs off. Shannon sees this and gives Davlin a side Russian leg sweep on the floor. Security again fights to get these men split up. Dustin gets to his feet and tries to attack both Davlin and Shannon for ruining his match. Dustin grabs a chair and slams it across the forehead of Shannon Skanes only to take a kick to the chest from Davlin, even while Davlin is within the grasp of three security guards.

Ricky Simms - This is insanity.

Henry Lesher - It's half way entertaining.

As more security rushes out to try and get this under control, we look backstage where Jason Knight is watching this on a monitor. We see a man sitting across the table from him, but we only see the back of his head.

Jason Knight - This is why I called you here.

Unknown Man - I understand.

Jason Knight - I need someone to show these people why AW is stronger than anything GWO ever was and with people like Nameless and yourself, who would try to stop us?

Unknown Man - I won't fail you.

The unknown man stands up and it's clear he is around seven feet tall. We don't see his face as he leaves the office and Jason Knight allows a smile to cross his face.

Ricky Simms - Who the hell is that?

Henry Lesher - Sure as hell isn't a Shmelky.

Gerard Angelo vs Thibor Dragosani

“Superpredator” by Massive Attack plays as Thibor makes his way towards the ring and the crowd boos him as he does so. He tells the camera that tonight Gerard is going to feel the pain of Thibor's beating. As he reaches ringside, he is chop blocked by a charging Gerard, sending him to the floor as referee Francis Clarke calls for the bell. Bombshell is walking out to join him as well.

Ricky Simms - Bombshell earlier tonight, in a dark match, defeated Kelly Buchanan and it's my understanding that Kelly was injured.

Henry Lesher - Breaks my heart.

Ricky Simms - She's ring announcing now, but apparently her knee was hurt during the match and has swollen up.

Henry Lesher - You would think she would have really strong knees with all the time she has spent with Vesuvius lately.

Ricky Simms - That's awful.

Gerard stands Thibor up, whips him shoulder first into the steel ringsteps and then grabs an audio cord and wraps it around Thibor's throat. Thibor answers that with a series of elbows to the ribs of the former world champion. Thibor then snap mares Gerard onto the steel steps, the former champ's spine meeting steel with a sickening thud. Thibor then picks Gerard up and power slams him onto the floor and goes for the pin there. 1...2... Bombshell kicks Thibor in the head to break up the count. Thibor gets to his feet and takes a swing at Bombshell. She ducks it and then Gerard rolls Thibor into a school boy for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Thibor.

Ricky Simms - Thibor is fighting what amounts to a handicap match here.

Henry Lesher - Well, it's only fair since Gerard is always handicapped.

Gerard stands Thibor up and dumps him over the guard railing and into the aisle between fans. Gerard then steps over the railing, folds up a chair a fan had been sitting on and clubs Thibor across the skull with it. Gerard then goes for the pin in the aisle. 1...2... Thibor rolls a shoulder out and Gerard gives the referee a dirty look. Gerard then pulls Thibor to his feet by the hair and pulls him towards the back of the aisle. He finds a concrete pillar and tries to slam Thibor's face into it, but Thibor manages to block it and then slamds Gerard's face into it instead. Kelly Buchanan has got up from her position at ringside and is sneaking up behind Bombshell with the microphone cord wrapped around her fist as a weapon and perhaps to clothesline her to the floor with. Bombshell hears the warnings of the nearby fans and turns to see Kelly coming and gives her the Bitch kick. Kelly is out cold on the floor.

Ricky Simms - Kelly's out for the night.

Henry Lesher - I would be rich if I had a dime for every time someone has said that.

Bombshell sees Thibor picking Gerard up and slamming him onto a row of chairs and decides she has seen enough. She climbs over the railing and starts towards the back. Thibor turns and spots her, grabs her around the throat and picks her up for a choke slam. Gerard chop blocks Thibor down before he can execute the move on her. Gerard then quickly places Thibor into a sharpshooter right out among the fans. Bombshell gives Thibor a leg drop across the back of the neck for his trouble while Gerard sits back to increase the pressure. Referee Francis Clarke checks on Thibor and finds he is out cold and calls for the bell. Gerard releases Thibor and then stands over him, blood trickling from his forehead as his arm is raised in victory. He asks if Bombshell is okay and she says that she is, then points to Bombshell. Gerard smiles and high fives her before they then head for the exit.

Ricky Simms - Gerard with a big win here this week.

Henry Lesher - That's open to debate.

We take a look backstage and see Davlin McCaine being placed in handcuffs, Shannon Skanes experiencing the same thing a few feet away. Jason Knight enters the picture.

Jason Knight - Look at you two insignificant bastards. You think you can crash my show? Think again. Next week, when we go to Calgary for Battle of the Warriors, I don't want to see either of you anywhere near the tournament. However, if you're that determined to win jobs here and play heroes, you can fight each other on the standard card that same night. The winner gets an AW contract.

Shannon Skanes - Go to hell.

Davlin McCaine - I wouldn't mind a crack at you in the ring, Knight. You're a coward.

Jason Knight - I'm not paid to be a hero. I am paid to do a job. You guys are going to jail. I did my job. Don't worry. You'll be out in the morning, right after we have taken our flights to Calgary. You can pay your own way.

Shannon and Davlin and shoves into their respective police cars and then the cars drive off as Jason looks on, the grin as wide as that of the cat who swallowed the canary.

Tommy Purr vs Daniel McCoy

"I Am the Body Beautiful" by Salt N Pepa plays as Tommy Purr makes his way out from backstage to the delight of the capacity crowd. He quickly makes his way to ringside, jumps onto the ringsteps and bows for the fans. He then leaps over the top rope into the ring and starts grilling referee Mark Davis about whether or not he can call a fair match this week. "Delilah" by Mindset then starts to play as Daniel McCoy comes out, also to a strong pop from the crowd. McCoy makes his way to the ring, high fiving fans along the way and signing a baseball cap for a little boy in the front row. He then pulls himself onto the apron and steps into the ring. The bell sounds as Daniel offers to shake hands with Tommy. Tommy appears to be taken aback by this and looks to the crowd incredulously. He then shakes hands with Daniel anyways. The two of them then lock up and Daniel and Tommy shoves back and forth, winding up in the corner where the referee demands a clean break. Daniel backs off and Tommy doesn't hit a cheap shot.

Ricky Simms - Looks like these two are wrestling each other with a little respect.

Henry Lesher - McCoy has to respect Tommy. Tommy is just being nice.

Ricky Simms - Being nice? Tommy? I think I'm getting a headache.

Daniel and Tommy lock up in the middle of the ring. Tommy shives Daniel into the corner buckle. Daniel then lands a knee to the gut on Tommy followed by a slingshot suplex right into the center of the ring. Daniel then applies a headlock on the downed Tommy. Tomy gets onto all fours as Daniel struggles to strengthen his grip. Tommy gets to his feet and then gives Daniel an atomic drop to break the hold. Tommy then knees Daniel in the spine before slamming his head into the corner buckle. Tommy then whips Daniel to the opposite buckle and tries to hit a clothesline on Daniel only to miss when Daniel ducks it. Daniel then gives Tommy a knee to the gut and then gives him a DDT to the mat and rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Tommy Purr. Daniel shakes his head as he stands Tommy up, whips him off the ropes and then both men clothesline each other to the mat.

Henry Lesher - Tommy is wearing this kid down.

Ricky Simms - Don't start on McCoy. He's been a breath of fresh air in a rather downer style dressing room.

Henry Lesher - Then put him on a sitcom. This is wrestling.

The referee starts counting both men down and the crowd seems split on who they are pulling for to get up here. On the three count, Daniel reaches the ropes and starts pulling himself up. On the five count, Tommy also reaches the ropes and starts pulling himself up. On the eight count, Daniel McCoy reaches his feet and pulls Tommy away from them and sets for a vertical suplex in the center of the ring. Tommy blocks it, reverses it and gives Daniel the suplex to the mat. We then see Bart Phillips making his way towards the ring. The crowd has a mixed response to this. Tommy spots him and has a few words for him. Daniel then rolls up Tommy into a school boy pinfall attempt. 1...2...3! Daniel gets the win over Tommy Purr in what has to be considered a huge upset this week!

Ricky Simms - I didn't see that coming.

Daniel rolls himself out of the ring and starts towards the back as Bart Phillips enters the ring, a microphone in hand.

Bart Phillips - Hey, Tommy, guess you need to watch your opponents a little more huh? Battle of the Warriors, we are finishing this. Battle of the Warriors, it's all about ending this thing once and for all. Get ready to suffer, Tommy.

Bart rolls himself out of the ring and starts for the back as Tommy then pulls himself to his feet. Tommy actually has a smile on his face despite the result and we read his lips to say that it's on and he'll regret this challenge.

Ricky Simms - They intend ot finally settle things.

Henry Lesher - Yeah, and Tommy will kill that whole clan off. Thank God for that. This is injustice. I'll ask Vesuvius to reverse this decision. It was all wrong.

Ricky Simms - Whatever.

Backstage we see Jason Knight returning to his office where he finds Vesuvius waiting for him.

Jason Knight - Evening, boss.

Vesuvius - You're not impressing me. You match Shannon and Davlin off against each other? I don't really want either of them at my first pay per view. I don't trust them.

Jason Knight - Then we let them kill each other in there.

Vesuvius - Things had better turn around for you, Jason. The clock is ticking. AW is getting bigger every week and you need to show me that you are the man to run the show.

Jason Knight - I won't let you down.

Vesuvius - You'd better not.

Max Cameron vs Rated R

"Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays as Max Cameron makes his way out towards the ring. He gets a rather warm reception from the crowd and he even high fives a few fans who are wearing his T-shirt. Max rolls himself into the ring and grabs the microphone from ring announcer Kelly Buchanan, who has fully recovered from Bombshell's superkick, at least from what we can see.

Max Cameron - I have revolutionized wrestling before. I will do it again. You see, I am bringing it all back. The paperwork is on the table. Max is bringing it all back.

He tosses the microhpone aside and his music fades out, "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace replacing it. Rated R comes out shaking his head, almost laughing at Max here. He tells the camera that Rated R made Rated R, and he'll be champ again. He then steps up onto the apron and starts having words with Max. Max invites Rated R into the ring and attacks him with a series of forearm smashes to the jaw before he's even all the way into the ring. Max then pulls Rated R into the ring, headlocks him and gives him a swinging neckbreaker to the mat and goes for the early pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Rated R. Max slaps the mat, stands Rated R up and whips him into the corner before then backdropping him to the center of the ring. Max then lands a knee drop to the chest on Rated R and then goes for the pin. 1...2... Rated R manages to roll a shoulder out. Max stands Ryan up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a dropkick in the corner. Rated R stumbles and falls right through the ropes and out to the floor.

Ricky Simms - Max apparently is trying to revolutionize the business.

Henry Lesher - Maybe he'll retire.

Max follows Rated R out of the ring, stands him up and takes a thumb to the eye from Rated R. Rated R then whips Max shoulder first into the steel corner post and then picks him up for a fireman's carry into a slam onto the floor. Rated R then puts the boots to Max and asks where the big hero is now. Rated R then rolls himself into the ring to break up the count and then rolls himself back out. He grabs Max by the hair and slams his forehead into the steel guard railing. Rated R then picks Max up and drops him onto the steel guard railing. Rated R then rolls himself back into the ring and smiles for the camera, telling us he is our hero.

Ricky Simms - Rated R has lost none of his swagger.

Henry Lesher - Yes, but he has gone soft. I can tell.

Max pulls himself off of the railing and then stumbles to the ring apron and pulls himself under the bottom rope. Rated R greets him with a series of kicks to the ribs, then Rated R stands Max up and whips him into the corner buckle. Rated R then rakes the eyes of Max Cameron along the top rope and into the next turnbuckle. Max responds with a thumb to the eye on Rated R, both men fighting dirty to try and gain the upper hand tonight. Max lands a series of knife edge chops to the chest on Rated R, driving him into the corner buckle. Rated R then knees Max in the gut, reverses positions with him and gives him a series of shoulder blocks in the corner.

Ricky Simms - Good back and forth action here.

Henry Lesher - It's more entertaining than the rest of the show has been, but that isn't saying much.

Rated R whips Max to the opposite corner and then gives him a sidewalk slam to the center of the ring from there and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Max Cameron. Rated R stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks Max to the mat. Rated R then quickly gets to his feet with his standard smile on his face. Max gets to his feet slowly, turns and takes a knee to the gut and Rated R delivers the Restricted on Max Cameron and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Rated R secures the win this week in a hard fought match with Max Cameron.

Ricky Simms - Huge win for Rated R as we head into BOTW.

Henry Lesher - Well, it was Max. I mean, it was.... you know... Max.

Rated R leaves the ring and starts for the back only to find himself face to face with a giant of a man.

Ricky Simms - That's Anthony Hicks! Where the hell did they dig him up?

Henry Lesher - Who?

Ricky Simms - That seven foot monster was a champion in the CWA years back. He is dangerous, reckless and has injured more men than I would care to elaborate on.

As Anthony smiles at Rated R, we see Jason Knight on the big screen from his office.

Jason Knight - Congratulations on the win, Ryan. Next week, you're in the same bracket as this guy. That's right. If you want to repeat as the million dollar man in these parts, you'll be looking at the toughest draw of the tournament. Have fun.

Jason fades from the screen and then we look backstage where Shengee Shmelky is with Halloween Jack.

Shengee Shmelky - Jack, you're back next week?

Halloween Jack - Of course. It's BOTW. It's the event I am meant to win.

Shengee Shmelky - Any preference on round one opponents.

Halloween Jack - No, I have proven myself in the past with wins over former champions. I am a champion in wait. Next week, I win a million dollars.

Shengee Shmelky - I guess it's good to be confident.

Halloween Jack - I thought you talked ghetto rapper and stuff.

Shengee Shmelky - Eminem is suing me for copying him. *shrugs* I don't get it. I have more street cred.

Halloween Jack - True.

Shengee Shmelky - Word.

Q vs Salty Tom

"Dalai Lama" by Rammstein plays as Vesuvius makes his way out towards the ring wearing a referee's shirt. He tells the camera this match is going his way or the highway. Vesuvius then pulls himself onto the apron and then over the top rope into the ring where he then tests the ropes. "Don't You Know Who I am?" by Happyland starts to play soon after and the crowd is on their feet for Q as he makes his way towards the ring. Q stops at ringside, looks in at Vesuvius and tells him this is his last chance to save face. As Q warns him, his music fades and we hear drum beats and "I Love Salt" being said over and over again. Maybe it's Franz Ferdinand chanting it? Only Salty Tom knows for sure and he comes out with a smile on his face and a back covered in salt.

Ricky Simms - This guy is just bizarre.

Henry Lesher - This guy is interesting, but Vesuvius made a mistake. Never get in any sort of battle with Q.

Q walks around the ring as Salty Tom makes his way onto the ring steps, then grabs a pack of sugar from his trunks and shoots it with no less gusto than an alcoholic would down a shot of sambuca. Salty Tom then enters the ring as Q pulls himself onto the apron and Vesuvius calls for the bell. Salty Tom charges at Q and elbows him in the forehead, knocking him off of the apron and onto the floor. Salty Tom then drops and pulls himself out of the ring, then grabs Q and turns him around just in time to take an eye gouge from the one lettered wrestler. Q then slams Salty Tom's forehead onto the apron three times before rolling him into the ring. Q then pulls himself onto the apron again and then steps through the ropes as we see Shelia Lavin making her way to the ring with a clipboard in hand. Vesuvius takes notice of her and seems perplexed by her appearance here. Q stands Salty Tom up, whips him off the ropes and clotheslines him to the mat.

Ricky Simms - Haven't seen Shelia in awhile.

Henry Lesher - Q appears to already be planning her place as commissioner for the rest of January.

Q stands Salty Tom up, whips him into the corner and misses with a shoulder block when Tom side steps it. Tom then gives Q a snap suplex to the mat. Salty Tom then gets to his feet and appears winded already.

Ricky Simms - I hope someone explains to Tom that salt dehydrates you and would weaken you in a match such as this.

Henry Lesher - Well, if he dies in the ring, it could give AW the dangerous rep Knight seems to want.

Salty Tom boot chokes Q, using the ropews for added leverage while referee Vesuvius looks on and does nothing to force the break. Salty Tom does break the hold, then stands Q up and whips him off the ropes. Salty Tom backdrops Q to the mat and then lands an elbow smash across the throat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Q. Salty Tom stands Q up, whips him off the ropes and then spears him to the mat. Tom again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Q. The fans start a chant for Q as Tom stands Q up again, this time whipping him into the corner buckle shoulder first. Tom then gives Q a German suplex to the mat. Tom again goes for the pin. 1...2... Q manages to kick out and Vesuvius is seen shaking his head. At ringside, Shelia Lavin is writing notes on what she sees. Well, that's what we guess she is writing anyways.

Ricky Simms - Tom in total control here at this point.

Henry Lesher - Q has a way of winning this kind of thing. For years, he has been the one standing still or falling down and then suddenly his arm is raised and everyone wonders what the hell happened.

Ricky Simms - I am frightened as I actually agree with you.

Salty Tom stands Q up, whips him off the ropes and Q ducks a clothesline and then gives Salty Tom a knee to the gut and then hits the Q Jumper and goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Q wins the match!

Henry Lesher - Yep, that's what I was talking about.

Ricky Simms - Q wins and we assume Shelia is the commissioner for January.

Q rolls himself out of the ring and doesn't say a word to Vesuvius. Vesuvius is standing inside the ring and looking down on Salty Tom as if he has failed tonight. He could be punished for this result.

Ricky Simms - How will Vesuvius react to this turn of events?

Henry Lesher - It could be a lot worse. At least Scavenger isn't running things.

Backstage we see Max Cameron with Shawna Miller.

Shawna Miller - Max, I understand you have a message for Rated R?

Max Cameron - Rated R, you may have got the best of me tonight. It won't happen again. We'll meet again real soon and, when we do, I'll be getting the last laugh.

Max then walks away and Shawna smiles innocently for the camera.

Hoshi Yakamoto vs The Nameless

"Surfing With The Alien" by Joe Satriani plays as Hoshi Yakamoto comes out, Xtreme title raised above her head and the crowd cheering her on. Hoshi then runs to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope as Bart Phillips makes his way out to ringside with a smile on his face. Hoshi jumps onto the second rope in the corner and holds her title high towards the crowd as her music fades. We then hear "Start A War" by Static X and see Emily Blackstone leading the way for Nameless. They stop next to the entrance and Emily reads a statement from Nameless.

Emily Blackstone - Hoshi Yakamoto, you have a title. You have been a champion before as well. You do not need to be destroyed at the hands of the Nameless one. Your foolishness will be punished if you do not back down immediately. If you show a lack of intelligence, you will be dealt with in a brutal manner. This is your only warning.

Nameless then stands and stares at her, almost through her as she stands in the middle of the ring. She looks over to Bart for a minute and he indicates he is here and won't let anything bad happen. When Nameless sees that she isn't going to leave, he resumes his walk to the ring as Emily now trails behind the giant of a champion. He places his title belt on the ring steps and Emily picks it up and drapes it over her shoulder as he pulls himself onto the apron and then steps over the top rope and into the ring. The bell sounds and Hoshi tries a series of knife edge chops to the chest on Nameless. He looks down at her and then shoves her to the mat.

Ricky Simms - I haven't seen anyone walk out of the ring yet when Nameless makes that offer.

Henry Lesher - That is because AW is full of idiots.

Nameless grabs Hoshi around the throat, stands her up and sets for a choke slam. Hoshi thumbs Nameless in the eye out of desperation, then knees him in the gut and delivers a DDT on the champion. Nameless rolls himself out of the ring to regroup. Hoshi retreats to the center of the ring, not daring to take her eyes off of her opponent. Nameless shakes his head as he paces on the floor for a few moments and then starts to pull himself back into the ring only to take a baseball slide to the chest from Hoshi that sends him back out to the floor. Hoshi then slips out of the ring, kicks Nameless in the ribs a few times and then rolls herself back into the ring.

Ricky Simms - Hoshi knows better than to stay out there with that monster.

Henry Lesher - If she truly knew better, this match would not be happening.

Nameless gets to his feet, then start to pull himself into the ring. Hoshi goes for another baseball slide, but Nameless side steps it and then pulls himself into the ring. Hoshi gets to her feet and then rolls herself into the ring. Nameless greets her with a knee drop to the forehead, then stands her up, whips her off the ropes and drops her to the mat with a big boot to the face. Nameless then signals that he is ready to end this and Bart Phillips jumps onto the apron. Nameless turns to Bart and the referee tells Bart to get down off of there. Tommy Purr rolls into the ring wearing a three piece black suit and drills Hoshi across the throat with a kendo stick. He rolls back out. Bart spots him and gives chase after Tommy through the crowd.
